There has been a sustained attack for many years on the Biblical account of Creation, such that many sincere Christians nowadays feel on the back foot about owning up to being believers.

Is it a fairy tale?  Is it a metaphor?  Were there just six “periods of time”…? Or was it literally six days of Creation – in other words, is the Genesis account of things real history?

Why does it matter anyway?  Isn’t it just a side-issue? Can’t you just ignore it all?  But if you put Creation in the “too hard” basket, where do you stop?  What about the virgin birth?  What about the bodily resurrection of Jesus?

On the 3^rd August 2008, Sunday, Adrian Bates from Creation Ministries International formerly known as Answers In Genesis, will visit our such and share some light on these and other issues.

Please come and also invite3 your friends to come and hear the Creation side of the whole debate about Creation VS Evolution.

The debate and discussions continues everyday about creation, evolution, intelligent design and a whole lot of things you can ever think off.
Louise Giglio a well known Christian has put together a comprehensive and a mind bothering DVD about the universe. Indescribable takes us on an image-rich journey through the cosmos, allowing us to peer into God’s universe to discover the amazing magnitude of His greatness and grace.

The young adult care group of Hope Auckland Christian Church will have a turn to watch the DVD together and after that take sometime to discuss and answer some questions related to the topic.

As advertised, Mr. Albert Roche came and had a talk with us about work and Christianity.

It was an awesome session to have a person with such an experience to come and share with us about Work and God. I personally was very encouraged about his sharing.

I am preparing a bullet point of his sharing and will make them available for those of you who could not make it on the Friday. I wish we could have recorded the session.

Tony Tay Group is a group of companies, has played an integral part of the Auckland property market.

The company was awarded Master Builder house of the year award. The company has been successful because they chose to honor God.

just a little something for everyone!

GOD has been changing my life and putting that “passion” back into my life. Now i wake up smiling and energized for the day. To be honest i dont know how i came to be a recipient for all these blessings! I have got to be the most dissatisfied, ungrateful person when i first got here in NZ. But GOD has been showing that HE is faithful little by little. The first year i believe my personality was sucked into this bottomless pit. And i feel i have to be happy all the time for the people around me.

December 2007 changed everything.
GOD has given me a new start in life even though i’ve known Him since i was a kid. I can be myself and smile.. and be truly happy for the first time since I got here in NZ. Thanks heaps guys for being a part of this.

Hi guys, the other day Kwadwo asked me to plan something for the Waitangi Day, so far I haven’t got any great plan yet. I just thought since it’s CNY eve maybe we should have an in-house fellowship at Kathy’s place? We could buy food and cook, just like what other chinese people do in CNY eve! Our YA ppl are well known as eat out fellowship, how about this time DIO this time, meaning we cook together. However, that wouldn’t occupy the whole day, we could probably fit something else in the earlier of the day. Any suggestions?  

Hi guys, I think today’s morning service was really fantastic. It’s good to see the full worship team, and people who have been away and now slowly all come back again! How about our 1st afternoon service? I actually wanted to join this afternoon. I went to inspect the Columbia apartment (the one next to Empire) after word for life, then I realized it was about 3:30-3:45pm, and since I don’t have transport (Kathy at the G180 party, Lee at home & Kojo on his way to the service) I just wasn’t able to make it. So in the end I went for lunch with KFC, R-Dee and Rhys. In the end we decided to ditch KFC and watch movie in IMAX…guess what? I finally realized how tired I was and I slept through the 1st half of the movie!………….Hey you think creating this Blog is a good idea? I don’t even write much on mine nowadays! I so need to keep it up. hehehe…by the way! I think the banner across the top is a bit too bright and flowery for YA Group!…… God Bless!…….by feLiX.
